Description
Used GEA Westfalia HSA 200-06-777 self-cleaning disc-stack clarifier, designed for the efficient continuous clarification of liquids and separation of suspended solids in food, beverage, dairy, brewery and industrial processing applications. This heavy-duty GEA Westfalia centrifugal separator features a clarifier-design bowl with intermittent, automatic solids discharge. During operation, the rapidly rotating disc-stack bowl generates high centrifugal forces, separating fine suspended solids from the liquid product. The clarified liquid is discharged continuously, while the separated solids collect within the sludge space and are discharged automatically at predetermined intervals. The product-contact components are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, making this industrial clarifier suitable for hygienic liquid-processing duties. The sanitary separator hood and covers help protect the processing area and facilitate effective cleaning and maintenance.
The GEA Westfalia HSA 200-06-777 clarifier is supplied with a PLC control panel incorporating a Siemens PLC, Siemens HMI touchscreen and frequency inverter for controlled operation and speed adjustment. This provides operators with centralised control, process monitoring, adjustable operating parameters and greater flexibility when processing different products. With a published working capacity of up to approximately 60,000 litres per hour, depending on the product, solids concentration, viscosity, temperature and required clarification result, this used GEA Westfalia separator offers a reliable high-capacity solution for industrial liquid-solid separation.
