Description
Used Tecnolat PTE 10/2 stainless steel HTST milk pasteuriser plant, manufactured in 2015 and designed for the continuous pasteurisation of milk at an approximate capacity of 1,000 litres per hour. This compact dairy pasteurisation system was previously used within a small-scale mozzarella cheese production plant to pasteurise cheese milk before the mozzarella manufacturing process.
The Tecnolat PTE 10/2 milk pasteuriser uses a two-section plate heat exchanger to heat the milk to a pasteurisation temperature of approximately 72°C. The milk then passes through a 20-second holding tube before entering the heat-recovery section, where heat is transferred to the incoming raw milk. This regenerative heat-transfer process helps improve thermal efficiency and reduce overall energy consumption.
The plant is supplied completely skid mounted and incorporates an approx 100-litre stainless steel balance tank, centrifugal milk pump, hot-water circulation pump, milk pasteuriser plate heat exchanger, holding tube section, hot-water heating system, pneumatic process valves and associated sanitary stainless steel interconnecting pipework.
An integrated stainless steel control panel provides centralised plant operation and includes a digital chart recorder for monitoring and recording the milk pasteurisation process. Its hygienic stainless steel construction, compact footprint and self-contained skid-mounted design make this used 1,000 LPH dairy pasteuriser particularly suitable for artisan cheese dairies, small milk-processing factories, mozzarella cheese plants, farm dairies, pilot dairy plants and speciality dairy-product manufacturers.
