120kg per hour APV 2FFTE-TVR1 Pilot Compact Evaporator Plant (SPARINGLY USED)

IN STOCK AVAILABLE TODAY

Description

Very sparingly used APV Anhydro 2FFTE-TVR1 Compact Pilot Evaporator Plant, manufactured in 2000 and mounted on a compact stainless-steel process skid. This high-quality two-effect falling film evaporator incorporates Thermal Vapour Recompression (TVR) and is designed for pilot-scale product concentration, process development, research and small-batch production.

The APV pilot evaporator provides efficient vacuum evaporation at relatively low product temperatures, making it particularly suitable for concentrating heat-sensitive liquid products. Its two-effect configuration and TVR system improve steam economy by reusing vapour energy within the evaporation process. The plant is equipped with stainless-steel evaporation vessels with tubular heat exchangers (Calandria), separators, sanitary APV product pumps, vacuum pump, instrumentation including Endress & Hauser flowmeters, valves, interconnecting stainless-steel pipework and a dedicated control panel incorporating a Siemens PLC and frequency inverters for all pumps. All main components are assembled on a self-contained skid with an access platform, safety handrails and ladder.

Originally installed at a leading European process engineering and research institute, this used APV pilot evaporator plant has reportedly operated only very sparingly. It is an excellent opportunity for food, dairy, beverage, ingredient, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research facilities requiring a compact, versatile and energy-efficient pilot evaporation system. Please note: The downloadable technical documentation, P&ID and drawings provided below is for guidance and reference purposes only and may not represent the exact specification or configuration of the Evaporator plant offered for sale.

Key Applications

The APV 2FFTE-TVR1 compact evaporator is suitable for pilot trials, product development and small-scale concentration of liquid products, including:

  • Milk, whey and dairy-based liquids
  • Plant-based milk and dairy alternatives
  • Fruit juice, vegetable juice and beverage concentrates
  • Lupin extract and plant-protein extracts
  • Protein solutions and nutritional ingredients
  • Yeast extract and fermentation products
  • Food ingredients, flavourings and natural extracts
  • Sugar solutions, syrups and sweeteners
  • Pharmaceutical and biotechnology liquids
  • Heat-sensitive liquid products
  • Research and development applications
  • Evaporation trials, process optimisation and scale-up studies

Actual throughput, evaporation capacity and final solids concentration will depend on the product characteristics, viscosity, feed temperature and required concentration.
