Description

Never used 2,500 litre Sordi stainless steel jacketed process tank fitted with a slow-speed, full-sweep scraped surface mixer. Manufactured in 2022, these tanks have never been installed or used in production and remain in excellent condition.

Originally designed for the production and processing of cream cheese, each tank features a sharp conical bottom for efficient product discharge and a PTFE scraped surface agitator. The slow-speed mixer continuously sweeps the internal heat-transfer surface, helping to provide uniform mixing while reducing product build-up on the tank wall. The full-sweep scraped surface agitator is particularly suitable for products requiring gentle mixing, consistent heat transfer and reduced product adhesion to the internal tank surface. The tank is fitted with a recirculation double jacket suitable for circulating heating or cooling fluids, allowing controlled product heating, cooling or temperature maintenance. Product-contact parts are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel, with non-product-contact parts and support legs manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. The tank also includes an insulated vessel body, CIP cleaning heads, inspection manway and sanitary product connections. Its hygienic stainless steel construction makes it suitable for processing viscous, heat-sensitive and dairy-based products.
