Description

This high-quality 3,760-litre stainless steel mixing tank has been designed for demanding processing applications across the food, dairy, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries. Manufactured by Teknokrom, the vessel features AISI 316 stainless steel product-contact surfaces with an AISI 304 stainless steel exterior, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, hygiene and durability.

The tank is equipped with a powerful dual mixing system comprising a 7.5kW anchor agitator with scrapers for efficient surface mixing and a 30kW Hommak Milkotek top-entry high shear mixer operating at 1,500 RPM for rapid product homogenisation. A serpentine heating/cooling jacket fitted to both the cylindrical body and tank base provides effective temperature control, while 100mm Rockwool insulation minimises heat loss and improves energy efficiency.

Additional features include a hinged top lid with magnetic safety interlock and safety grid, PT100 product temperature probe, 3-inch bottom discharge fitted with a stainless steel butterfly valve, adjustable stainless steel legs, and a fully integrated control panel incorporating frequency inverters for both mixers, digital temperature display, emergency stop and warning beacon.
