Description
This is a used Reda RO15W Reverse Osmosis RO Membrane Filtration Plant. The reverse osmosis filtration plant is designed for the concentration of sweet whey, operating at a working temperature of 10 °C and an ambient temperature of 20 °C. With a feed flow rate of 15,000 kg/h, the system produces 10,000 kg/h of permeate and 5,000 kg/h of retentate, achieving a volume concentration ratio (VCR) of 3. Incoming whey contains 6–6.5% total solids, which are reduced to 0.01–0.02% in the permeate and concentrated to 18–21% in the retentate. The plant operates within a pressure range of 15–35 bar and incorporates 32 membrane elements of type 8038, arranged across 3 filtration loops. Powered by a 400 V, 50 Hz, 3-phase electrical supply, the system draws 80 A and has an installed power capacity of 48 kW, ensuring efficient, high-volume processing for dairy and food applications.
