    Description
This is a used APV SPX Butter Inline Mixing Blending System with Buttermilk Pasteuriser. This APV SPX Butter Inline Mixing Blending System with Buttermilk Pasteuriser was used for producing Buttermilk Blended and Flavoured Butter Blending. The Butter Inline Mixing and Blending System with Buttermilk Pasteuriser, manufactured by APV SPX, is an automated line designed for the continuous production of flavoured and buttermilk-blended butter. This integrated system ensures pasteurisation of buttermilk, blending, dosing of additives or flavours and inline homogenisation of butter to deliver consistent product quality and texture. The line begins with a Buttermilk Tank, which stores and supplies buttermilk for the process, followed by a Buttermilk Pasteuriser Plant equipped with a Holding Tube Section to ensure proper heat treatment. A Buttermilk Pump facilitates the smooth transfer of pasteurised buttermilk through the system. For flavour incorporation, the setup includes a Flavour Concentrate Mix Tank and a Flavour Dosing Pump, which enable accurate metering and uniform dispersion of flavouring agents. Two APV/SPX Inline Homogenisers/Mixers, connected in series, provide high-shear mixing to achieve a fine and uniform emulsion of butter, buttermilk, and flavour additives. The system further integrates an APV SSHE 3VT 3-Barrel Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger, which offers efficient thermal control and textural refinement through continuous cooling and working of the butter. A Waukesha Butter Pump is included for gentle yet robust product transfer, preserving the butter’s structure and quality. The entire operation is managed via a Control Panel with Siemens PLC and HMI. Please note that this Butter Blending system includes a Butter Hopper with Screw Feeder (Without drive motor). However, this Butter Hopper wasn't used at it previous location and was bypassed and butter was direct fed from the continuous butter churn.
