We are pleased to offer this Teknoice VMF-X automatic linear ice cream filling machine, manufactured in Italy in 2013.

This high-quality 3-lane automatic filling line is designed for the automatic filling of stackable ice cream tubs, and is supplied with change parts for 1 litre and 2 litre containers.

The machine is capable of filling 1 or 2-colour ice cream products and features programmable dosing and 3D movement, allowing the filling pattern and dosing parameters to be adjusted according to the product and container format.

The VMF-X has a mechanical speed of 5–35 strokes per minute per lane.

With three lanes operating simultaneously, this gives a maximum theoretical capacity of up to 105 tubs/minute, or 6,300 tubs/hour.

Actual production capacity will depend on the product, container size, recipe, dosing configuration and operating conditions.

Machine stations

The Teknoice VMF-X is a fully automatic linear filling system incorporating a comprehensive range of filling, decoration, topping, lid application and product discharge stations. Automatic Tub Feeding Automatic feeding of stackable tubs from a vertical magazine. Containers are transferred using a vacuum suction system and introduced into the machine via a pneumatic vertical lifting table. 1/2-Colour Ice Cream Dosing Station Equipped with 6 pneumatic timed dosing units with distribution nozzles for precise ice cream filling. The station also incorporates 2 additional stations for the manual addition of sponge cake or other inclusions. 3D Dosing & Decoration Station A programmable 3D dosing system providing lateral, longitudinal and vertical movement of the dosing units. Brushless motors allow precise control of position and speed, with adjustable dosing quantities and programmable movement profiles. Two bypass valves allow the ice cream flow to be diverted in the event of a machine stoppage. Granule / Inclusion Dosing Station An additional station for the automatic distribution of granules, inclusions and other particulate ingredients. Product is fed by vibration and conveyor into the dosing units. Chocolate Spray Station Two pneumatic chocolate spraying stations for applying chocolate or other liquid coatings to the product. Cocoa Powder / Topping Station Dedicated station for distributing cocoa powder, with the option to accommodate an alternative topping system. Automatic Lid Placement Automatic lid positioning from a vertical magazine. Lids are transferred using a vacuum pick-up system and accurately positioned onto the filled tubs using a pneumatic double-step rotation mechanism. Lid Pressing Station Pneumatic pressing station for securely fixing the lids onto the filled containers. Finished Product Discharge The completed products are automatically transferred from the filling machine through the finished-product discharge system, comprising: Pneumatic product discharge lifter Automatic discharge robot for transferring products onto the main conveyor or a second existing tunnel conveyor Finished-product discharge conveyor Pneumatic movement system for a date-coding unit, with encoder-controlled movement for inkjet printing heads (date coder not included) This configuration provides a highly flexible solution for the automatic filling and decoration of 1 L and 2 L stackable ice cream tubs, with the ability to produce multi-colour, filled and decorated products with a variety of inclusions and toppings.
