Description
Very sparingly used EGLI Type 5000 Batch Butter Churn, designed for the efficient batch production, churning and working of butter in commercial dairy-processing plants. Manufactured by EGLI AG of Switzerland, a recognised manufacturer of industrial butter-making equipment, this substantial stainless-steel butter churn features a horizontal rotating churning drum with an internal volume of 5,000 litres.
The 5,000-litre churn cylinder can accept approximately 2,500 litres of cream per batch. When processing cream containing approximately 50% fat, the expected butter output is approximately 1,250 kg per batch. Actual butter yield will vary depending on the fat percentage, density and composition of the cream used, as well as process efficiency and the required final butter moisture content.
The machine includes an integrated 22 kW drive system with a Danfoss frequency inverter, providing variable-speed control for the different stages of the butter-making process. The adjustable drum speed allows the operator to optimise cream churning, buttermilk separation, butter washing and working. The EGLI 5000 incorporates a large access door for product loading, inspection and cleaning, together with a dedicated stainless-steel drive and electrical control enclosure. Currently held as stock, this 5,000 Ltr EGLI 5000 Batch Butter Churn is available for immediate sale. Please note: The downloadable technical documentation and drawings provided below is for guidance and reference purposes only and may not represent the exact specification or configuration of the plant offered for sale.
